MTB Cycling (Licola) 2:12:01 intensity: (6:00 @0) + (35:32 @1) + (46:48 @2) + (43:41 @3) 30.13 km (4:23 / km) +792m 3:52 / km

After a very cold -2degree night in a tent 10km north of Licola we met Jarad, Leo and Paddy for a paddle. Kathryn joined them for a paddle through the gorge to Cheynes Bridge, while Mattias and I went for a ride. Climbed 800m up to 1000m and back again. Nice in the sun, cold in the shade. A new vertical record for a pram ride.
2 PM

Kayaking (Lower Macalister River) 2:50:21 intensity: (1:41:51 @1) + (1:08:30 @2) 27.4 km (6:13 / km)
ahr:118 max:135 shoes: Spirit PRS Ski

After Kathryn had finished paddling, I continued on down the river. Problem was I didn't really know how far I was going, partly on memory and had no phone reception to check. I had previously paddled the first 15km on a high 35degree and lower water levels. Much different to today. But it was a great paddle, just longer than expected. Luckily Kathryn found a place to park near the edge of the water with car lights on as I had a few mins left before total darkness.
Classic day of tag team parenting!

River height 1.76m at Licola
