Had my 20yr high school reunion last night (and half of this morning). awesome swim at the beach in the morning. Crazy hot even at 9am. The drive down Scenic Drive looking over the beaches made me miss Newcastle a lot.

Got a bit choppy out in the bay. Had one wave over the cockpit and took on a bit too much water. Then took a little bit more and a little bit more until I sunk. Seem to be making a habit of this lately. Good thing it was boxing day and I had a boat come and help me in a few mins. Emptyied the water and paddled the remaining km.
