Supporting Kris in the Scottish 5000m champs then cycled home along the coast with Jonny. Nice route with lots of fun forest paths and a nice tailwind. Bit of playing on a couple of bike tracks then stopped in Newhaven for some awesome fish & chips.

HBT Handicap Race (although wasn't drinking so really just the handicap part...)
Wasn't going to run initially as still feeling rubbish and trying to avoid too many hills/offroad on achilles. But route seemed pretty nice to run around so went round at a nice tempo-ish pace. Waited for Sarah to down her pint at the 1st drinks point then did 20 press-ups at the 2nd drinks point.

Absolute struggle back up the hill and into a really strong headwind. The new flat is so much further from the Killing Fields than our old one!

Sprintelope Final - Kirkliston
First half was really fun and tricky housing estate. Was running far too fast and navigating like a total wally running down lots of wrong alleyways. Then second half was standard urban running course. Felt quite sick/stitchy and seemed very hard work to keep up any kind of pace.

Train times were rubbish so ended up cycling back to Edinburgh via Dalmeny (and a minor detour when Jonny thought he knew a faster way :P ).
