Very tired today. Feeling very spaced out and unable to focus. Most I did was walk down the drive to pick some blackberries.

Disappointing result. Again feeling very lethargic and foot quite sore on all the uneven rocky stuff. Felt nauseous climbing up the really steep hill to 8 so was disappointed to hear Alison yelling out "this isn't fair!" and looking down at my map to see we had to do it all again to 13! Cecilie and Meg came past about 10-12 but couldn't even stick with them for 1 control. Thought I might be alright once it got to the nice open downhill part at the end but was reduced to a walk on even the tiniest of gradients.

Not sure what was up this weekend. Hopefully I get some energy back soon.

Planned to take it pretty chill as I knew it would be fairly easy to qualify, but this felt pretty hard work. Legs felt very heavy and completely lacking in energy. Got a bit worried that I'd taken it too easy when Alice caught me 1min (although on a different heat) but could still see the other girls I'd started with so figured I was okay.

Happy with my race from a navigation point of view. Only real mistakes being misreading the line to 3 and going to 8 instead (luckily was the same route anyway so only 10secs lost) and hesitating at 5 as I couldn't read if the flower bed was olive green or not (it wasn't).

Unfortunately wasn't there physically at all. Completely lacking in energy, struggling to breath and stomach very stitchy and nauseous.

Took the bike we've been trying to fix out for a very easy spin round the block. Couldn't put any pressure through the pedals on the uphills as it would slip out of gear. But nice to get out as my legs really needed it...still sore from the weekend and not having access to usual aqua jogging/spinning. Need to find a solution when I get back from Switzerland.
