World Cup Switzerland Sprint - Laufen
28th B Final (59th overall)

Felt a lot more excited and up for this than the other 2 races. But as soon as I started racing hard, it was the same old story with zero energy and feeling rubbish. Also made a lot of poor navigational mistakes...largest being missing the passageway at 6 (hidden behind unmapped restaurant seating) so did 3 extra sides of the building (+15secs), and taking a very bad route on the long leg to 15 as I just followed where I'd seen the 2 girls ahead of me go and wasn't reading my map (+25secs).

So overall a very poor World Cup weekend from me. Hopefully can sort out whatever is wrong with me in the next few weeks and come back stronger for China.

WC Switzerland Knockout Sprint Qual - Zwingen

Really tricky for a qual course. Felt always behind on the nav and didn't see both of the fake fences. Given how dreadful I felt, I actually wasn't too far off qualifying (~15secs)...mostly lost in running speed in the last 5mins.

Same issue as the BSBM weekend. Zero energy, had to stop and sit down a couple of times as I was so dizzy and wobbly. A few groups of girls came past me at various points in the course but most I could hold on for was 1 control. Struggling to even run on the flat tracks by the end.

Not sure if really unfit or some other underlying issue. Either way it's jolly annoying.

In other news, Jonny absolutely smashed it! So proud :)
