2nd Annual Sydney Craft Beer Week Brewery Run

Started at 4 Pines in Manly with Andy, Bart, Brooner, Macey, Bert, Steve, Dave Meyer and Prong. First 18km was pretty much trails (with one bush beer stop, kudos to Andy!) to Flat Rock Brewery then roads through to Lord Nelson, King Street Brewhouse, Staves, Wayward, Young Henry's, Grifter, Batch and The Rocks Breweries.

I am happy to confirm I have successfully defended my last year's championship title and also significantly lifted the game, finishing at 33 different beers. Canberra newbies started hard just to find themselves spewing rainbows already at Grifter, while I have tactically paced myself, finishing at Rocks on the edge of a blackout.

Honestly, this was probably the most fun day since I landed in Australia. Endless laughs, blurry memories and surprisingly no injuries or arrests. The only little shadow was the douchey hipsta bartender at Batch who has refused to serve me my fuel despite me calmly explaining my athleticism and drinking a half a litre of water in front of him. Which led me into a protest action of skolling Brooner's (?) beer in front of him which then led to our fast, non-voluntary departure.

Oh one more problem is that my right hip (that ached the day after 100k) was giving me some serious grief from about 10th km. Nearly paralysing at times but I just kept running and drinking.
