Dropped some beers at Brooner's and then did an interval session around Glebe foreshore and Pyrmont wharves. 6x1km with short recovery jogs until HR <160 (ok I was walking and swearing before the last one). I wanted to stop and go home after every single rep so pretty good mental training today... Times 3:30, 3:31, 3:35, 3:32, 3:40, the last one was a real struggle. Long tempo tomorrow. Eat it you lazy f#ck.

SSS #24 - West Pennant Hills

Forgot my Garmin so decided to go for the lot no matter what. Think I had a good route, very similar to Steve's, but did a few mistakes (the biggest being overunning the turn up to #10 which cost me good 40 sec). Magically rebalanced a massive slip when cutting a corner through a driveway on the way to #16. No idea how I managed that but very glad, that could have ended with broken bones... Anyway, was done around 8th km. The amount of mucus I spat out during the race was disgusting...

Good course though, nice trail section and a few little bush cut throughs.

600 in 46:11 so 580 net. Steve back home in 43:22 which sounds about right.

Back in Sydney after a full on 9 days of eating and boozing in Prague. Got sick after a very clever 20k coooold run on day 1 and still not 100% ok. Back into running tomorrow. Actually today, it's 1.30am ehm... #jetlag Let's see what have all the beers and dumplings done to my fitness :)
