hudson highlander. came away with the win after sergei seemed to loose his intelligence while trying to keep up with / run away from me late on leg 4. he only had the opportunity to do so since i'd screwed up controls 36 and 37, blowing a 3 minute lead (2 min of which accumulated up the king-of-the-mountain leg, sweet). splits unfortunately too sporadic to be of much use. loops 1 to 3 were fun, loop 4 a bit tedious (all trails). fitness held up better than expected, though achilles complained a little toward end of loop 1.
