Orienteering 1:26:44 [3]12.19 km (7:07 / km) +460m 5:59 / km
spiked:16/21c slept:8.0
US champs day 2. Not such a good run, but after Eric had a worse one and so did Sergei, enough to win. Lost contact (distracted by other runners) at 3 and made a parallel error; recovered from the trails behind the control.

Note
US champs, Telemark WI. arrange accommodation.
Orienteering 1:04:27 [3]9.01 km (7:09 / km) +360m 5:58 / km
spiked:16/18c slept:6.0
US champs, Telemark, Cable WI, day 1. Second on the day. Splits suggest 30 sec at 7 (lost concentration, drifted right after crossing a small ridgeline but caught by the trail I wasn't intending to hit) and 2:30 at 11 (lost contact, recaught it but without confidence, then when the map looked a little odd near the control, didn't have the confidence to push through and instead went to investigate the area west of the control. Not a bad run.
