Short one from the flat, not feeling anything too extravagant so ran for 12.5 minutes along the canal then turned around.

It got me to the aqueduct and down the stairs to the WoL then back home

By the time that man was ready the rain had started in earnest, so battled our way out for a bit before turning around and coming home on the canal

Meandering around, breaking in the new shoes.
Right foot hurting a fair amount at points, maybe did a bit much running in a row. Probably would have been sub 40 but I had to answer the call of the wild on the long leg

Only did 5 reps instead of the prescribed 6, but no ragrets. Still very slippy in parts, and I forgot my headtorch which didn't help anything, but got it done.
Having missed the gym session yesterday I was curious to see if the legs would feel any better on the hills - no chance.

Having been an abject failure at doing any training these past few days I was failing again by not going to the gym this morning. Without Tam and Calum there, what was the point?

Roused myself from this stupor and got myself out the door for a run. Decided on the canal for 4km, because it'd force me to do the other 4km home. Big boy headwind on the way, so an easy breezy on the way back

Felt better as a result
