Scottish 6 Days Day 2 - Balfour Forest

Better than yesterday, felt quite good physically and so the orienteering was just happening. Didn't ever feel like I was pushing super hard, but I didn't want to gut myself given it's only the second day. Hips were feeling okay too, though the blister is still lingering.

Couple of small wobbles navigating, thought I was on the wrong patch of green at 10, poor compass on 18 so ended up too low, and too far right to 24 and had to come in off the path.
Much better in the circle today though, and much better flow as well.

Happy, and I extended my run-in lead over Richard, which is the important bit

Scottish 6 Days Day 1 - Glen Tanar

Started about 40 seconds behind Purko, managed to pass him to 1 cause he's a punter. Slightly too high to 2, poor compass.
Took a maverick route to 4 because I was scared of the climb, but I should have just manned up. Might have at least kept Purky in sight if I had.
Some more wobbles in the circle, but not really anything I'd class as a proper error

It was pretty hard work physically, not sure I'm up for something like this yet. But I got round, and I'm pretty sure I won the run-in.
Blister on the bottom of my foot, and hip hurting. At least the longest day is over and done with

Gympa with Emily. Calves a mess from yesterday, and feeling a bit tired, so took it very easy.

Nice weather till the last 10 minutes when we got drenched, but it encouraged a hard and fast finish. Stripped off at the car, and got it nice and steamy inside
