Sunday Feb 7 #

10 AM

Run 1:40:54 [2] 20.33 km (4:58 / km) +180m 4:45 / km
shoes: Waverider 24s

With young Matthew on a trip to the beach via Innocent, and back along Queen's Drive

Perfect weather for a seaside run - absolutely baltic and snowing

Saturday Feb 6 #

12 PM

Run 59:56 [2] 10.88 km (5:31 / km) +200m 5:03 / km
shoes: Mudclaw 265s

Bit of Mortonhall action

Long time since I've been there, and even longer since in the daylight. Following my nose but it lead me astray, so I didn't quite do what I had in mind.

Feeling reasonable though, and good to get out and about

Thursday Feb 4 #

6 PM

Run 1:14:02 [2] 13.16 km (5:38 / km) +150m 5:19 / km
shoes: Waverider 24s

Ooze around an oxgangs loop. First few km with Emily, then I turned off up the hill and immediately died.

Wednesday Feb 3 #

5 PM

Run 23:07 [2] 4.02 km (5:45 / km) +40m 5:29 / km
shoes: X-Talon 230s

To/from

Getting rather chilly in the rain on the way back

Run intervals 37:16 [4] 7.95 km (4:41 / km) +115m 4:22 / km
shoes: X-Talon 230s

3x9 minutes [2 minutes]

Possibly the most bog like it's ever been, which is unsurprising. So a bit of a slip and slide, but shifting okay.
Can't wait for a few months when I get to do intervals in the daylight

Tuesday Feb 2 #

6 PM

Run 58:17 [2] 9.78 km (5:58 / km) +120m 5:37 / km
shoes: Waverider 24s

Easy with Emily

Had to go the house to pick up some drill bits, so we went the long way there, and the short way home.
Pretty damp for the first 40 mins, but it came out relatively nice in the end
