Saturday Feb 27 #

11 AM

Run 1:24:41 [3] 16.4 km (5:10 / km) +250m 4:48 / km
shoes: X-Talon 230s

Shuffling to Braids, then two hard laps of the XC course (38:53), then shuffling back home.

Really got into the Braids XC mindset and went too hard on the 1st lap, and paid for it on the 2nd.
This was a whole two seconds quicker than when I did it in November, and also only 10 seconds away from a PB which dates all the way back to 2015.
Will take that - getting into some reasonable form (for me)

5 PM

Cycling 30:00 [1]

More rolling. Less dicey on the 2nd go, even moved hand positions a few times

Thursday Feb 25 #

6 PM

Run 1:16:57 [2] 14.23 km (5:24 / km) +150m 5:08 / km
shoes: Waverider 24s

South loop through Oxgangs, not much to report.
Quite pooped and a bit chilly tbh

Wednesday Feb 24 #

6 PM

Run 26:39 [2] 4.02 km (6:38 / km) +40m 6:19 / km
shoes: X-Talon 230s

To/From

Run intervals 44:55 [4] 10.04 km (4:28 / km) +155m 4:09 / km
shoes: Mudclaw 265s

4x8 minutes [2 minutes]
5x 50m sprints at the end

Joined by Stephen this week, though he only did 3 reps. Nice to run with someone else, even if we were pretty different speeds.
Still, his light gave me something to stay ahead of, and it was good motivation.

Pretty muddy, but shifting quite well - fastest I've been round there for a while, good stuff. Thought I'd overcooked it after the first rep, but ended up being nicely consistent

Tuesday Feb 23 #

10 AM

Run 46:12 [2] 9.07 km (5:06 / km) +100m 4:50 / km
shoes: Waverider 24s

Have the day off work, so got myself out for an easy run round Braids Drive.

Saw a lovely rainbow and a burnt out car, very nice

Monday Feb 22 #

11 AM

Cycling 15:00 [1]

Have bought some rollers, so went for a spin.

15 minutes was more than enough for the white knuckle ride that followed.
Will build it up some more next time - will definitely be good once I get used to it
