Orienteering race (British Middle Champs) 29:30 [5] *** 4.5 km (6:33 / km) +96m 5:55 / km
spiked:16/23c shoes: INOV8 X-Talons 190s

Not a good race. Good to one but then lost momentum with a bad route through the terrain to 2. 3 I hit well although there was some debate as to its placement. 4 disaster I didn't have enough conviction to pinpoint my location so panicked and ran around for a bit. It seems from quick route that I ran within meters. Next few control were poor as I felt the pressure from the early mistakes. Got it together to get some fastest splits through 9,10,11,12 but it quickly deteriorated as I hit the different forest. was getting back into it near the end but was never really in the race. I ended up 3rd but it was not what I had wanted from the race.

had a really good sprint race its a shame it ended in disaster! slight error near the end but the rest was quite smooth.(apart from the MP)

Orienteering race (British sprint B-final) 13:50 [5] *** 3.25 km (4:15 / km) +20m 4:08 / km
23c shoes: Inov8 f-lite 230s

very sloppy. I was in the B so no motivation really in the end. Was super tired from race earlier and was just losing concentration. So many small errors!

Nothing hard at all just an easy run with the family :) I did one km hard in the middle to add some pace and did it in 3:10 so felt ok about that :)
