Storm King Mountain. As with MP trail, made the dumb mistake of stopping once, which led to cramps, which led to the death of a piece of my soul. I think a lot of this comes down to mental toughness, which has been a problem for me since high school cross-country, and being physically capable of going a lot faster but not being able to break through the mental wall...

Long, mostly easy run after getting back to West Point. Went down to the rugby fields, along Flirty Walk, up to Lee Gate and back, and around the Plain. IT band seems to be doing better--no pain in my left knee!

Up the hill to the gate, and back down, then more uphill to a residential area, and back down. It was super cool--started out in dense fog and when I climbed up above it I could see a ton of stars.
