2 month ago I was in a quite good shape showing some stable orienteering and the physical shape was growing, than some knee pain, which turn out to be a major injury. yesterday I did some some orienteering on a tough terrain, maybe not the best kind of terrain to test, but anyways. It was horrible. honestly, no advancement compared to a try of right after the injury. the knee is shit as it was and it does not really react on rehab or rest or what so ever.

motivation to keep the shape in the gym is running out.

The WOC this year? I will be in a shit shape anyway since I did not have any decent orienteering for 2 months, I have not made it "oficial" though, but I think it is a matter of time, I hope Mark Heikoop can fill the spot instead of me.

As much as I love this game I think it is a time to accept the reality and not torture my body with 10+ hour a week of training. Maybe it is not that bad after all and will be back this autumn or something, but at the moment I dont see myself there. For now, I will free myself from the agony of expectations and develop myself in something else. In other words FUCK THIS SHIT!
