Just added together the general warming up and down across the day

Running race (5 mile fell race) 38:52 [4] 4.9 mi (7:56 / mi) +300m 6:40 / mi

First race of the day, felt so good after a hard week of training. Set off nice and steady and pushed hard up all the hills gradually catching the woman infront, took her after about 3 miles and kept feeling really good so carried on pushing until I caught the women in 3rd and 2nd but with just less than a mile left of field running my legs couldn't keep up with 2nd so I finished 3rd lady, just missing out on a £15 prize but still happy cause I felt like I ran it as hard as I could!

Matt won - cheeky £40 prize

Running race (800m) 3:00 [4] 0.5 mi (6:00 / mi)

Only entered the 800m race because there was no other women then realised on the start line the prizes weren't separated for gender. It was handicapped though so sprinted the first lap then when the boys passed me I took it easy to save for the second fell race

Running race (Fell race) 17:20 [5] 1.8 mi (9:38 / mi)

Second fell race - straight out and back

Up the same way as the first race to start then instead of turning off and going through the woods we kept going up to the top, the steep climbs absolutely killed me the second time round, 2nd woman to the top then overtook her on the downhill and managed to hold her off to get first woman and a nice £30 prize!

Sunny run to woodland with Matt, only wanted to do 5 miles today but we got a bit carried away trying to reach beacon tarn, didn't quite make it, maybe next time

Warm up- jog to the fell gate
From the second fell gate to the top: 2 minutes hard up, then 30 seconds jogging down. Got to the top in 26.30 so was on my seventh rep.
Warm down- jog back down

Afternoon run over Lingmoor and down the other side around blea tarn, the heather was so bright and purple on the top!

Coniston Horseshoe - backwards

Parked at the Sun in Coniston, up the Old Man, onto Swirl How, then Whetherlam and back. Tough first 50 minutes but nice and steady after that and the sun came out for the climb up Whetherlam!
