2 PM

S&C (Core ) 15:00 [2]

4 PM

Running (Steady) 45:31 [3] 4.6 mi (9:54 / mi)

Would've made a lovely 5 mile loop had I not had a cow related issue, the cows won the staring competition and I quickly diverted. Very wet but every run (bar yesterday) seems to be at the moment

Saturday Sep 9 #

12 PM

Running (Steady) 3:29:21 [2] 11.5 mi (18:12 / mi)

Three shires fell race recce-

Veeeery nice and slow, stayed sunny the whole time, was lovely apart from getting lost coming down blisco but found the right path in the end. Was absolutely knackered when we got down to blea tarn so we skipped lingmoor as I know it like the back of my hand, and ran back down the side of the valley

Think I'm ready for Saturday now!

Friday Sep 8 #

11 AM

Running (Steady) 1:29:40 [3] 8.6 mi (10:26 / mi)

The standard woodland loop, was all fine and well apart from the rain and having to fend off a buzzard

Thursday Sep 7 #

4 PM

X-training (Gym) 30:00 [3]

Really wanted to get out for a run inbetween shifts but it was terrestial rain all day which I just couldn't face after my shift so went to the gym instead which I suppose I should do more often - bit of cross training is always good

15 mins on the cross trainer
10 mins on a step machine
5 mins on the rowing machine - shoulders are a bit sore today which I guess is good as it must've been working my weak rotator muscles

Tuesday Sep 5 #

5 PM

Running intervals (Hill reps) 27:05 [4] 2.2 mi (12:19 / mi)

Hill reps in the park

3x (4x 1 minute) with 1 minutes to get back down the hill inbetween reps and 3 minutes between sets. 1 minute was maybe not enough time between reps, guess it was a bit more of a threshold session but it felt good until an angry dog came and tried to ruin my session

Running 21:10 [2] 1.94 mi (10:55 / mi)

Warm up and cool down

Monday Sep 4 #

10 AM

Running (Steady) 1:38:18 [3] 8.6 mi (11:26 / mi)

After a few too many days enjoying myself too much in Leeds it's back to the grind.

Steady run with Katie to woodland. Felt a bit knackered but that's no surprise after 3 days off
