Eskdale Eureka. Achilles had been hurting since climbing on Tuesday. Probably shouldn't have been running but did anyway. But was a real effort as couldn't push off very well of right foot. Trails were quite awkward too, narrow, mud, icy puddles, rocks, etc. Usually would have been fine, but lacking a bit of elegance with my Achilles. Then I sprained my ankle. Not too bad and fortunately just before the road crossing. Was prepared to just walk back 3km along the road but some nice walkers were just returning to their car and offered me a lift.
