Was meeting the Fam in the megalong for a bbq so headed out along narrow neck. Was planning on going down Tarros ladders but knee was feeling a bit dodge so took the short cut option down the chains at Carlons head pass. I couldnt find the track so bush bashed for a bit before picking it up on the ridge. The chains were fine, could check them before using them to climb down. Felt good along the last section down to the megalong ford.

From Jenolan Caves road to Katoomba entering onto the six foot track halfway up the pluviometer climb. Rode the cx bike which the back wheels centre tread is bald so I locked it up a couple of times on some steep slippery descents. Luckily kept upright. I swam the cox's river this time instead of crossing at the swing bridge and then climbed the hill behind the camp site and exited via private property. Finished in the dark hiking up via nellys glen. Good fun tough ride.
