Strange one. Train to Wareham and ran along the purbecks, old harry rock to studland, across the ferry to sandbanks. Had planned to run along the front/beach back home but had to call it a day in Sandbanks.

Nutrition was the real failing today. Was a little tired after yesterday's fast 16km too. Late start and waking up (again!) meant an 11am breakfast (granola + banana) no lunch was the big (stupid) mistake. I took a few peanut butter + jam sandwiches but they got trashed in my bag and quickly became inedible. Forgot to take a banana so only had a couple of flapjacks with me. Just crashed and felt empty.

Terrain was quite brutal too, thick thick energy sapping mud on the flat and the steep parts.

Lots of lessons, mainly ones about stupid mistakes.
Not a successful run but always nice to be out.

Heartburn/indigestion for the first 40-45 mins, but felt good in the legs. It started to wear off and after a gel felt very strong. Fast finish.

Had planned to run a marathon distance today but after a lazy start swapped today and tomorrows runs over.

Run to studio - lots of sand on paths so a little soft underfoot.
R.Foot felt a bit sore, trainer tounge seems to be shifting to one side, causing a lot of strain, was better after being moved back but would still slip to one side.

Back from holiday and nearly recovered from illness. Still feels like something is stuck in my chest.
Ankle felt okay at first but still pain.

Nonetheless felt quite good.
