DINO trail race at Mounds State Park. Cold and wet conditions, and a few hills. The course was 2 2/3 laps of the park, and was changed at the last minute to avoid boardwalks and stairs given the rain and near-freezing temperatures.
I went out in front with another runner, then dropped him after 0.5 mi. I was alone in the lead for the first lap, then started lapping people in the previous laps on the 2nd lap. I finished almost 6 minutes ahead of 2nd place. I'm not sure about the distance. Others said it was 9.5 mi, my watch said 9.1 mi, Brian (the race director) also thought it was long. Maybe my watch cut off corners.
