Again, I stopped the watch as soon as we got to the hill. Gotta save that energy for the course

Orienteering (Surebridge - "Interv) 1:05:02 [3] 3.65 km (17:49 / km) +143m 14:54 / km

Back in New York! Finally have power~
Technically intervals but not really, the terrain was very difficult to actually push on. We had 3 intervals. On the first one, I was very very slow. On the second one I did better, just blueberry bushes. The rest of the people on the same course as me started getting fairly paranoid about bears, which is understandable. But I wasn't really worried about it at all, so I just passed the group at some point. Then on the last interval I ran on my own. I think that for the last two intervals I did pretty decent, especially for the last one. On the last one I hit every control perfectly and I'm happy about that.

I was doing amazing until I terribly messed up 6. I tried to do one route choice, but then realized I can't (mind you, the map quality was really bad. Runnable, but hard to see if you can pass through or not). So then I went the wrong way around that was at least 100m longer. The rest was clean, but it still kinda sucks.

Nothing really went wrong on this second sprint except for the fact that on the previous sprint I kind of forgot I was supposed to do another one so I kinda had no energy left

turned it off as soon as we started going uphill

Orienteering (Misery - Short) 25:56 [3] 2.43 km (10:40 / km) +111m 8:41 / km

No, it was not miserable. The place is called misery. It actually went quite well, Diana and I had a nice competitive downhill sprint to the finish

Walk (Speed walking champs) 40:01 [3] 2.17 km (18:26 / km) +9m 18:04 / km

We did a bit of speed walking and sprinting. In other words only 400m of it. That's just cuz we found out the fastest walked mile is 5:30. Yeah, faster than I can run one.
Then we got distracted by bars by the middle school and fooled around on the monkey bars and failed at pullovers.
