11 AM

XC skating (Laurel Ridge Ski-O) 1:10:19 [3] 8.45 km (8:19 / km) +155m 7:37 / km
ahr:162 max:188

skiing really only makes me feel more miserable. I'd much rather go on a run. maybe it's partially because I didn't rewax my skis, but i was super slow. i was faster than previous weekends, but i really just felt completely miserable. i honestly just want to stay at home and go biking or regular orienteering but i didn't really have a choice.

Plus, i worked on the course this week, and with the help of Craig Sheldon we got it onto MapRun (although the start was moved later and i didn't know where it was moved, so i stuck with my original start and didn't end up using MapRun, but it worked for my parents). It was a good course i guess (i mean i was annoyed at myself that i made so many controls but thats kinda the point-), my parents liked it so that's good. i had a clean ride, just a very slow one because of the skiing itself (and the fact that's I'm out of shape and everything else)

5 PM

i wanted to go biking but i ended up having an anxiety attack instead so rip i guess...

Thursday Feb 11 #

i'd go biking but my brake disk is rubbing against something and idk exactly how to fix it so rip i guess

Wednesday Feb 10 #

4 PM

Biking (Beach Dr) 57:10 [3] 17.2 km (3:19 / km) +143m 3:11 / km

it started drizzling as soon as I stepped out the door, and about half an hour in it started snowing, but it was the wet kind of snow, so I decided to not extend the ride and to just go back home

Monday Feb 8 #

(rest day)

i feel like I got hit by a truck (no surprise there) so no running or biking today

Sunday Feb 7 #

11 AM

XC skating (Laurel Ridge) 1:39:26 [2] 9.6 km (10:21 / km) +154m 9:35 / km

i took a break every 50 meters to have an existential crisis but other than that it was okay
I'm a little too tired today to think clearly enough for my technique to be decent, anyways
1 PM

XC classic (Laurel Ridge) 51:32 [2] 4.0 km (12:53 / km) +90m 11:35 / km

It's been a while since I was on classic skis (like a bit over a month), so my technique wasn't really good at all. besides, what even is energy at this point? And yeah, I gave up on trying to ski pretty soon (well distance wise. time wise, well, I was out there for a while)
