Biking 1:56:45 [2] 24.79 km (4:43 / km) +92m 4:37 / km
ahr:138 max:170

ice and snow on the trail made things interesting, about half of the time i was focusng on just not slipping, the other half of the time it was dry pavement, thankfully. I kinda liked biking on the snow though, it was fun to go slow and focus on not dying.

i ended up doing a lot more distance than i thought i did, interesting....
also i'm very sore from yesterday...

Strength Training (core call) 10:00 [1]

i really cheated this one a lot today - i made almost every exercise easier for me, and I sometimes only did it for half the time. I'm a bit tired i guess

Running (w/ ben) 25:05 [3] 3.2 km (7:50 / km) +56m 7:12 / km

i ran? incredible-

I went on a walk with Ben, and I just felt like trying out jogging, to see if it felt as bad as I was afraid it would, and I was surprised that I felt better than I expected, so I kept on running. So, about the first 150m-200m or so, I was walking, but then I started running. I had to stop a few times for Ben, so that slightly slowed down my average pace. My average moving pace was 7:07/km, so I'm pretty happy about that.

I'm a little worried about ben. So we were on a ~half mile long street near us, and we ran there and back twice. Even during the first time Ben was only sticking next to me, not sprinting ahead of me like he has always done before. Then, on the second time, he was staying far behind me, and I tried to loop back around a few times so he can be next to me, but he kept on slowing down behind. I know that my dad ran the bumble with him, and Ben was tired during it, but he kept up. I'm not sure if it's because we went skiing on Saturday and took Ben with us? But he only did 1.7km, I feel like after two days he wouldn't be that tired.
I'm just worried about him, I know he's getting old, but he's always seemed to at least try at the beginning, and sprint ahead, as if he had just as much energy as he had 5 years ago. This is the first time I've seen him this low energy from the very beginning.

Downhill skiing (Whitetail) 56:52 [3] 16.44 km (3:28 / km)
ahr:134 max:178

In total I apparently did 17 runs. Some were a lot slower than others, because I tried skiing in the woods/on the edge of the slope several times (i find it a lot more fun than just skiing on the slopes the whole time). I was surprised that I was able to go down all of the slopes, even the double black diamond, with no problem. I honestly think that was mostly because there was a lot of powdery snow, so it wasn't as scary as it would be if it was just ice. I also went down the ski park several times, I really like doing the jumps (I don't do the big ones, I never go very high).
I enjoyed this more than I thought. I was afraid that because of the amount of people there, I would be on edge the whole time, but I ended up having a lot of fun. It wasn't very cold out, so it was pleasant, and I haven't been downhill skiing in ages (I don't think I even went last year), so it was fun to do it again.

Also I appreciate not having to go uphill-
