Note
slept:10.6

never enough sleep. I wish I could sleep until my brain will be okay. right now it's just a nuisance
9 AM

Running warm up/down 16:00 intensity: (2:47 @1) + (3:09 @2) + (10:04 @3) 1.91 km (8:22 / km) +11m 8:08 / km
ahr:142 max:161

10 minute warmup + uphill drills (high knees, butt kicks, bounding strides, skips, ankling)

had the full intention of doing a workout after this but I legitimately can't. I'm so tired, I feel like crap, I don't want to do anything.

i might try going back out later today, we'll see
2 PM

Running 36:57 intensity: (32 @1) + (6:46 @2) + (13:27 @3) + (16:12 @4) 5.5 km (6:43 / km) +51m 6:25 / km
ahr:157 max:179

redeeming myself by running away form my bad feelings

felt a bit better than expected

update: my neck is now sore too (shocker)
12 PM

Strength Training (core) 5:00 [3]
ahr:87 max:115

taking a break from homework and studying

i did a normal plank rotation (normal, side, high, other side, normal) but I did 50 seconds of on my knees (bc I'm weak) then 10 seconds of normal aka on my feet?

kinda bummed I'm not orienteering but tbh after last night all I want is to be home and just kinda hide.

Note
slept:11.0

was gonna run but ended up cleaning my room instead to get ready for the MCFRS exam I'm taking... it's gonna be long...

Also yeah maybe I did sleep 11 hours but I slept from like 5-7pm then from 8:30 to 11:30 and then from like midnight to 6am so yeah it doesn't feel that great tbh
9 AM

Strength Training (archery) 25:43 [3]
ahr:111 max:136

trying to work on my precision, it's not going too well rip
8 PM

Note
(injured)

ankle again, but shockingly enough not from running.

was on my way to my mom's and the road was slippery and i was trying to be careful but apparently wasn't enough because my wheels locked out and i rammed into another car at a stop light. since i was fully compressing the brake my ankle wasn't very happy about the impact.

thankfully everything's solved, but i don't think im gonna wanna drive for a to while
im just glad Oliver wasn't in the car

funny thing tho: guess who was first to show up at the scene? the Montgomery County Fire Department. aka one and the same as the organization i took an exam for like 3 hours ago. what a way to get acquainted

Note
slept:7.3 (rest day)

Oliver woke me up at 3am to go to the bathroom - so I took him outside and he ran as far as possible from me before going... I hate it when he does that because I'm not in the mood to go looking for him when I can't see and when I'm sleep deprived.

but yeah I wish I could've slept lonnger. Being asleep felt so incredibly comfortable tonight, which is kinda surprising since I had trouble finding a comfy position to fall asleep in at first.

ended up taking a rest day because my glutes are dyinggggggg from yesterday's intervals

Note
slept:9.3

woke up at 3 am thinking it was past 6 am and I was ready to start my day and went to the bathroom and all then then I realized that nope I still had a few more hours so I tried to go back asleep, and fell back asleep around 5am to then be woke up by Oliver throwing up a bit before 7 am.
10 AM

Running warm up/down 10:37 intensity: (8 @1) + (2:07 @2) + (8:22 @3) 0.9 mi (11:48 / mi)
ahr:146 max:156

apparently the rac has a .1 mile track like what is this

walk/jog warm up/down 11:46 intensity: (3:41 @1) + (5:39 @2) + (2:26 @3) 0.5 km (23:32 / km)
ahr:130 max:160

just some drills with a walk back

Running intervals 24:50 intensity: (1:32 @2) + (7:04 @3) + (16:14 @4) 2.0 mi (12:25 / mi)
ahr:163 max:180

was gonna do 400s but the track is only ~160 and 1) i wasn't about to do math and guestimate and 2) i have an aversion to running intervals longer than 1 lap so I did 10x 160m @ ~40 sec each with one lap walk/jog as a rest

what's a workout without disappointing myself with how much I can do

Running warm up/down 12:25 intensity: (57 @1) + (1:07 @2) + (9:19 @3) + (1:02 @4) 1.0 mi (12:25 / mi)
ahr:149 max:167

i hated this but did it for the mileage :)

Strength Training (push/pull) 48:44 [3]
ahr:116 max:143

I absolutely should've done more, but oh well, I was really tired after those intervals and I was super hungry (I felt nauseous from hunger by the time I got to the dining hall...) might've been because all I had for breakfast was a protein bar cuz I didn't have time, whoops lol
7 PM

Note

hmm im feeling funky, my cheeks are burning up (I'm not sweating and im not feverish) and i feel kinda shaky and my stomach isn't super happy hopefully this goes away by the morning

8 AM

Running (Gillis Falls) 28:07 intensity: (3:36 @1) + (7:47 @2) + (13:35 @3) + (3:09 @4) 3.61 km (7:47 / km) +73m 7:04 / km
ahr:144 max:172

Meant to do a long run, but my body was really not having it. Probably could've pushed it, but it wouldn't have been fun and tbh probably wouldn't have been super beneficial either since I'm trying to do intervals tomorrow. So yeah I kept it short (besides the climb was sorta killing me)

loving the fall weather though, it definitely felt like I was back at the PA house on this run.... can you tell I miss it?
3 PM

Strength Training (archery) 29:30 [3]
ahr:105 max:129

training to be legolas and getting the treehouse covered in arrows by accident (it's right behind the target okay)

not much of a push exercise but whatever. Also what tired me out more was pulling the arrows out of the target rather than the shooting itself. I also tried using a glove for my hand pulling the string but tbh it just made me less coordinated, it made it harder to hold the string back, I couldn't keep the arrows on the bow with it on, and I had barely any control of when I'd let go, so I took it off for the last few rounds and they went sooooo much better.

10 AM

Running (Glen Artney) 41:20 intensity: (9 @1) + (47 @2) + (21:25 @3) + (18:59 @4) 5.81 km (7:07 / km) +82m 6:39 / km
ahr:161 max:180

Just taking it chill, the run felt okay, I finally did a fully easy run (no trying to push myself a little faster, no looking at my pace, no trying to go hilly, no trying to stretch it out much longer, and best of all no walking at all, just jogging). This felt pretty good, and pretty comfortable. I'm just a bit stressed cuz college work, it feels like I'm already falling behind, but tomorrow I don't have to go on campus so I'll have a chance to do a lot of the work I need to do (if Oliver lets me...)

also I was running in my casual sneakers because guess who forgot their running shoes two days in a row?
5 PM

Strength Training (push) 12:18 [3]
ahr:110 max:129

really short session today because the RAC was packed and like none of the machines or benches were free so I just left, I might do some tomorrow at home or on Wednesday.
