We had to forfeit because too many workmates didnt show. Poor effort. Played still with half another team and won 3-0. Scored one.

Vic Relay Champs, started with a cool terrain loop with everyone (thanks for the innov Waz) and then the first leg runners went off. Ian had a cracker first leg for us, I just aimed to keep our position, which I kinda did (dropped a spot but only 2 secs behind). Passed QLD (Dane C) but SA (Kez) and VIC 1 (Bruce) got away after a couple of k's. VIC 2 (Blair) caught me near the end after some lost time in the shit controls. Felt constant but a little slow. Prong held our position for 6th. Pretty satisfied.

Completely screwed this one - at least 10 mins of mistakes, and felt like I had no aerobic capacity. Struggled through. Cant believe the course went over the ridge 7 times, felt like it could have been a bit more creative. Cant talk with my bad nav though!

Ran a constant race, didnt put in a massive effort, tried to make sure I didnt go down the results list. About 5 mins of mistakes, not too bothered. Finished a 3 days!

Satisfying run, even though I was off the pace. Went fast early (Rune O and Robbie only caught me 4 and 2 mins to number 9), died a bit in the middle and lost a bit of time in the complex stuff in the last half hour, but happy with sticking it out. Hoping for better result for my effort though. 25th, 20mins behind Shep.

Fairly unclean race, about 5 x 20-30 second mistakes. Cant make that up in this terrain. Comparing splits with bro Dave showed I was not really off running pace. Physical confidence booster for tomorrow. Need some speed overall though.

Prologue at California Gully. Bendigo. Went hard early, struggled later on, and made some bad mistakes near the end. Coming off a race just to be there (see previous entry), so no focus. Not very memorable.

Day off before 3 days, but no time anyway. Worked all day, then drove down after Margo finished at 10pm. Slept in car for 2 hrs at Holbrook then kept going to Bendigo, got there right on time. Not great, but shit like this happens in life.

Soccer with work team down at Waverton Oval. Lot of stop-start sprints, good training, blowing real hard at times. Tried to physically take it easy for the weekend. Put the last ball into the water with a shot on goal so made the game finish early. 0-0 draw. Then did 7 hrs of fishing. I'll add this when I have time.

Putting out and bringing in controls for an event I organised at Boxvale. Obviously stop-start training but pushed hard between setting up controls. Thirsty work.

Run from work to robbies for interval training. Also added warm down from intervals and from work to home as well. Felt OK. Good nights sleep finally. Beautiful cool weather.

15 x 1/2 hills, 1/2 oval sprints with fences. With fatrat, andy and robbie. Need to work on my fence technique, got killed over the fences. A bit off the pace but kept up.

Intervals on Cammeray Golf Course at night. Ran the tee to flag hard - a bit slower than usual couldnt see the bumpy ground well. Did the nine holes. Good fun. Ran around streets a bit more. Really tired, doing big hrs at work.
