Stingers training at Sydney Park with Andy, Robbie and Phoebe. 2 x 12 min courses with rest. Ran pretty hard, happy with the effort. Felt fairly good.

Stingers training at Cremorne Point at night with NSW Stinger, prong, FatRat and Margo. 3 courses between 9 and 15 mins. Not exactly technical, but it was a good run with a map, thanks andy. Felt better than I thought I would after yesterdays run, only slightly sore calves.
Cant get better views than 6-7 on the third course. Right across the harbour to Opera house and bridge.

Went in the Balmoral 5km fun run for something a bit speedy. It was run by triathletes so it started at 7am (who else is up at 7am on a Sunday?) and I think I suffered for it. Felt really sluggish and actually yawned a couple of times in the race. Came about 10th. Winner was Caleb Wegener in 15:15.
It was a nice course though along the esplanade.

Another 45min run down around Neutral Bay and up through North Sydney. Not terribly in the mood.

Ran at night down around TUnks Park and Northbridge after watching the SWANS TROUNCE THE DOCKERS!! (sorry candyman). Pretty tired after another long work week in Brisvegas.

20 x 100m sprints at an oval in Toowong. Did the sprints a bit slower and the recoveries faster than usual so it was a little bit fartlek run. 20 mins there and back at a good pace made a good session.

Around the south side of Brisbane River from Southbank to Story Bridge and back. The intensity felt a lot more than 3 because I was still struggling from Saturday night - thats right on Monday night.

Good solid run up to Middle Cove reserve, around the reserve loop and back. Pretty hilly run so had to be a bit tough.

Just an easy run around South Brisbane, including taking the long run in to the Gabba from the Vulture St end.
Felt a bit off.

Down along the river from southbank to Story Bridge and then back along the other side. Feeling pretty shattered after a long day of work out in the field.

Easy run from Southbank across to QUT and around the park, the thigh is stiff from yeaterday, but better for the run.

Awesome accomodation in Brisbane, view over the river to the city and also directly overlooking a Brumbys bakery.

Event: NSW Long Championships
 
Orienteering race 1:10:00 [4]
slept:7.0 (injured) shoes: New Balance 781
Did the first half of the NSW Champs, up to the point where the course went back past the start. Didnt really push. Thigh injury started to burn from after about 30 mins, but I wasnt fussed to much, just glad to be running with a map in some reasonably good forest.
Jumped straight in the car back to Sydney to get a flight to sunny Brisbane.
