Monday Jul 31

run 40:00 [3] 8 km (5:00 / km)
slept:7.0 weight:73kg shoes: asics 1110
Around the Brisbane foreshore in the dark in the morning before work. Its real warm and nice.
Felt weird as I always do when running straight after getting up.

Wednesday Jul 26

run 30:00 [3] 6 km (5:00 / km)
slept:7.0 weight:73kg shoes: asics 1110
Just a boring old run around the wet streets of Cammeray, went down to Primrose Park. It was real foggy under the park spotlights, surreal. Looking forward to moving somewhere interesting, theres just not enough interesting running here.
Knee was good - must be the new shoes.

Just discovered Jetstar now going to all our probable honeymoon places! Savings! More places we can go!

run tempo (Stingers training) 1:00:00 [4] ** 9 km (6:40 / km) +50m 6:29 / km
slept:7.0 weight:73kg shoes: asics 1110
Stingers night orienteering sprints at Bicentennial Park with Prong, Ben, Phoebe and Jose.
3 courses each about 10 - 12 mins. Felt pretty good even though I have no right to - havent trained for 2 - 3 weeks because I want my pesky knee to right itself. Rest seems to have helped but I could still feel it.
Only 4 weeks to Qld races so I'll just train on through regardless now.

Wednesday Jul 12

Soccer 30:00 [3]
Final Match of the season. Playoff for 3rd. And we were Japan to their Australia. 0-0 at half time, we turned it on after, I scored two goals, but then we forgot our defence, and they put three past us in 3 minutes. An intense last 5 minutes when we shot heaps of times but failed to score, and we had to settle for fourth. Felt like headbutting someone in the chest. Cracker game, next season starts next week!

Orienteering race (Metro #3) 36:54 [4] *** 4.95 km (7:27 / km) +150m 6:28 / km
slept:6.0 weight:73kg shoes: New Balance 781
Metro #3 at Dharawal (Appin). Not many others there so didnt push, felt cruisy the whole way. Got the 10 pts and our team won, so it was a good race all up. Pretty easy course.
Not sure who mapped it but they didnt do a real good job. Typical crap Sydney mapping.
Orienteering 1:40:00 [2]
shoes: New Balance 781
Warm up before and collected controls after the metro.

Saturday Jul 8

run 1:05:00 [3]
weight:73kg shoes: New Balance 781
Had a nice relaxing day at the northern beaches just chillin'. Capped it off with a run around Narrabeen Lake. Had to go thru Cromer golf course and got shouted at by a fat guy in a golf cart. Also had to go thru NSW Sports Academy, which I didnt know was also 'trespassers prohibited', which was a bit surprising.
Knee a bit better today.

Wednesday Jul 5

Soccer 30:00 [3]
shoes: adidas response
Won soccer tonight 4-1, we've finally found our passing game, storming home thru the finals like a team of azzuri (minus the well timed dives)
Playoof for third (out of six) next week. Not bad for a team that won one and drew one in ten matches in regular season!
run 40:00 [3]
shoes: adidas response
Ran to soccer from home and back. Noting different.

My knee problem wont go away. After about 10 mins the left patella gets real sore, its actually pretty bad. Dont want to put it down as injury otherwise my log will end up looking like ezy's.

Pretty much the reason why I'm not doing much training.
