Well, I was going well until the third control on the first of three courses. Then I decided to try to keep up with Fat Rat out of the control along a greasy rocky track, he with a silva trucklamp and me with an LED headlight. Got to an off-camber corner going at pretty much 100% pace and lost it. Slid over and cracked my mouth on one of the sandstone steps in front of me. Real skateboard video blooper stuff. I lost half a front tooth (at first I was scared I lost heaps) and the rest went clear through my bottom lip. Lots of blood. Mark Schaefer was decent enough to drive me home and I went and waited 7 hours to be seen at North Shore Hospital - for ONE stitch! Its a bizarre feeling to have the doctor try to inject local into the wound only for it to come straight out the other side into my mouth. I also managed to badly cork my thigh into the deal so now its hard to even walk and wont be having a run in Qld.
Still a good run otherwise.

Orienteering sprints around Clifton Gardens with most of the usual crowd. 3 courses of about 20 mins each, ran ok, good to get a map in my hand.
Including warm up, warm down and waits between races.
