| Did this one after watching Mottrams effort in the 5000. From home to Gladesville bridge, then Iron Cove Bridge, then Glebe Island Bridge, then Sydney Harbour Bridge then home. Kept up a pretty good pace. Heaps of police wandering around the city. |

| In the morning before going to a work friends wedding. Up to Artarmon and back through Tunks Park. Felt crap as usual on a morning run. |

| Down to Balls Head after work. Tried to keep a good pace up. The harbour looked really nice looking out from Balls Head to Lane Cove side. |

| Sat on one of the bikes in the mining village gym. Managed to rig up the laptop on top of the handlebars and put on a DVD of the TV series where Ewan McGregor and his mate go around the world on their mo'orbikes.
Pretty late - 9pm - pretty much the whole place is in bed by then for another 5am start. I'm glad I didnt stay in this game. Started so late to let dinner settle, the mining village food is pretty similar to a Sizzler buffet, and free, so of course I went too far. |

| Felt pretty knacked, not used to the hours, so I jumped on one of the bikes in the mining village gym after dinner. Was looking forward to going for a run along the walking track between the mine and the village (5km) with the garmin, so I had an interesting google earth plot. But it was too dark by the time it came around. This is not a good place to disturb a snake on a warm track in the middle of the night!
This place is just like one of those sport and rec camps you went to in primary school, but swearing is an acceptable adjective for anything, instead of punishable by cleaning the toilets. And everyone gets their own room. |
