10 AM

Walking 3:40:00 [1] 11.0 mi (20:00 / mi) +700m 16:42 / mi

Walk up Mount Keen from Invermark with T & H. Handy Munro to climb on our way home. Fourth time up Mount Keen and second time from this side, though Tracey insists she can't remember climbing it from that side before (we did!). Nice day, quite warm lower down but windy and cool on the top.

9 AM

Trail Running 17:33 [2] 2.35 mi (7:28 / mi) +60m 6:55 / mi

Ran round first loop of parkrun plus a bit extra.

Trail Running race 18:47 [5] 3.0 mi (6:16 / mi) +100m 5:40 / mi

Crathes Castle Parkrun. Figure of eight course mainly on nice trails with an uphill finish. Set off steady on the mainly downhill first km with Ginie and another guy. Robbie flew off as expected. Started pulling away from Ginie a bit on first long climb but she was never far behind the whole race so helped keep the pace on. 10 second gap at the end so I was 2nd, with Robbie breaking the record. Really enjoyed the route. Certainly tougher than Falkirk and maybe comparable with Plean. Pretty dry too.

Hanna did her first senior parkrun and finished in the top half of the field in 26.39. Great run on a tough course though think she prefers the hills!
10 AM

Trail Running 17:51 [2] 2.01 mi (8:53 / mi) +50m 8:15 / mi

Warm down on the smaller hilly trails with Robbie and Ginie. Such a nice place to run.
11 AM

Walking 1:00:00 [1] +200m

Walk up Scolty with T & H. Lovely sunny weather though breezy on the top.

8 AM

Road Running 25:40 [2] 3.37 mi (7:37 / mi) +10m 7:33 / mi

Pre-work Balgreen loop. Annoyingly could’ve had a longer lunch run instead of I’d known about the train delays. Lovely morning though.

Road Running 16:59 [2] 2.23 mi (7:37 / mi) +20m 7:25 / mi

Run down to AS

Hill Running 29:44 [4] 2.9 mi (10:15 / mi) +340m 7:31 / mi

Run on AS with Dave and Murray. Went up the bog then up Nether via the Haddie. Dropped down to the top road then climbed up top half of MFD, then on to Nether again, before descending via the arete. Nice to be out on AS again and a good tough couple of climbs. Fitness getting there. Very dry.

Road Running 17:17 [2] 2.25 mi (7:41 / mi) +40m 7:17 / mi

Session round Warriston Triangle - 10 x 2mins (1min)
Much better session than last week. Built the pace throughout so moved up the pack a bit. Plenty folk to run with which was good. Good to feel a little bit of pace coming back.

Rep paces - 5.50, 36, 29, 38, 29, 18, 31, 36, 33, 5.11min/mile

Nice condiditions

Road Running 17:58 [2] 2.33 mi (7:43 / mi) +50m 7:14 / mi

Run up to work
6 PM

Road Running 26:56 [3] 3.48 mi (7:44 / mi) +60m 7:21 / mi

Run with the FVH kids to Rannoch Park for drills (them not me), round the park then three hill efforts (moderate) at Beancross then back to the stadium. Legs felt more tired running slow at the start, not so bad once running a bit faster.
