Run with Kane & Euan at Beecraigs. Tried to avoid hills as much as possible for once as legs a bit tired from yesterday. Still went up Guthries and down to the loch and back. Raining the whole run, as forecast.

Hill Running 1:50:54 [4] 7.94 mi (13:58 / mi) +1220m 9:27 / mi

Leg 4 route with Angela from Alva Glen CP, Wood Hill, Tilli Glen (lower bridge), The Law, Ben Cleuch, Ben Ever, The Nebit and back. Fair to say was close to flat out for current fitness on the climbs, with Angela running ahead. Conditions were tough underfoot as the ground was very wet, so slippy/soft on the way up and had to run off the path on the way down. Great run though and great training. Legs were the most tired they've felt in a long time by the finish. Luckily the wind was just OK, with a bit of a NW headwind on The Law. Rain came on on Wood Hill and rained for the rest of the run. Turning to sleet by Ben Ever.

Got left ear unblocked (syringed) at the nurse. Great to have hearing restored and generally feel a bit better.

Run from the boulder round to Whinny Hill then across to Nether and back via the tourist descent. Very windy on the tops, the final bit to Nether was tough. Out with Cameron.

Session round Warriston triangle - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1min (60s after 1, 2 & 3, 75s after the 4 & 5). Set off with Stewart & Niall on first 3 reps but really not on good form due to congested ears & nose, so got dropped from the 4th rep onwards. Just a case of getting through them without overdoing it.

Training run with the FVH kids to Rannoch Park. Did 2 x 5mins then 1km fartlek. Short loop was ice free though a section at the far end was a bit slippy on the 1km.
