First family Munro hike of the year and it was a cracker - Creag Mhor and Beinn Heasgarnich from the car park near Kenknock. We soon went up into the cloud on the climb up Creag Mhor but the mist started breaking up by the summit. The grassy descent followed by the climb up BH was most excellent. Even the long descent of BH was generally pretty good, getting a bit rougher/boggier towards the bottom, but never that bad. Kept largely overcast with a pleasant breeze, though the sun came out for the last hour. Perfect.

FVO Weekend Event - Beecraigs West
Enjoyed the course overall with a decent amount of physical and nav challenge. Frustrating to lose over 5min on #14 where I was convinced I'd executed fine but in reality was slightly low. Easy to make some of the vegetation fit when it didn't quite! Warm work so sweating bucket.

Braco WEE - Green course
Pretty tiring, but enjoyable stuff! Nothing tricky (apart from finding a couple of the base units!) so just plugged away. #14 was well concealed in a hollow which confused me a bit. Nice running on the whole though.

Hanna has sports day so thought I might as well do the full MJ Reps session, since it's a favourite. Quite tough and suspect I was running a bit faster than current 5k race pace. Coros took the session on face value (ignoring recoveries) and has slashed my expected race times...
