3k time trial at the melbourne uni track. My goal for this was to get around 9:45 and Pete did an awesome job of pacing me for that. Felt pretty comfortable for the first 2ks while he was leading me but I started feeling it a bit in the lap after he dropped off. Managed to put in a bit of a kick in the last 200 or so to get back on target. I was helped a bit by having the melbourne rebels squad cheer me on for the last few laps which was nice.
Happy to get about the time I was expecting but I'm aiming to get it down to about 9:40 by mid jan and then under 9:30 before jwoc.
