Running (Easy) 44:19 [2] 8.62 km (5:08 / km)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 15

I'd been inside for pretty much the whole day so I had a vague idea that it had been raining but then I got out to darebin to find that the creek was about a metre higher than usual. So that kind of mucked up my plan for this run. Eventually managed to find a bridge that wasn't flooded and the rest of the run was alright.

Running tempo (Progression) 53:53 [4] 12.16 km (4:26 / km)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 15

Went out to try and do a progression run with Pete as an alternative to my usual thresholds. The plan was to do 4:30 for the first k and then decrease by 10 seconds per k except we ended up doing the second one at 4min flat and because you have to get a negative split each time it ended up getting pretty hard pretty quickly. Was really feeling it on the fifth one so pulled out and had a rest while Pete kept going, then we did 6min at threshold pace to finish off the session. I feel like this could be a really good session but we really stuffed it up today and I think I'm also not quite recovered from the camp.

Orienteering race 16:44 [5] 4.08 km (4:06 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel-OS Racer

Pretty happy with the race, took it easy at the start to get into the map but after that, just tried to push through with whatever energy I still had left. Lost a bit of time on my routes to 11 and 14. As I was coming into the last control Sue yelled out to me that I was winning (not sure where she got that from) so I started really gunning and ended up stacking while both punching the last control and the finish but all g cause it was SI air.

Running warm up/down 11:19 [3] 2.34 km (4:50 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 x-talon 212

Orienteering race 22:19 [5] 3.94 km (5:40 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 x-talon 212

Not a very clean run, kept over-running controls, but still took my team from about 5th to the lead so that was ok.

Running warm up/down 12:23 [2] 2.18 km (5:41 / km)

Orienteering race 16:02 [5] 3.82 km (4:12 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel-OS Racer

Ok race, found it hard to push hard as the legs were starting to feel it a bit. Got caught on the trap at 7 like everyone else but other than that I was navigating alright

Running intervals 10:52 [4] 3.18 km (3:25 / km)

Lazy TorsO challenge, had a bit of a slow section in the middle where I was a bit lacking in motivation to keep pushing but still did an ok time.

Orienteering race 13:06 [5] 2.67 km (4:54 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel-OS Racer

Really fun race at Radford. I knew I needed to get my act together in the forest section after my effort the day before and ended up doing it well. Found it a bit hard to keep up speed in the main bit of the campus with all the sharp corners and steps. A couple of slightly sub-optimal route choice decisions near the end but still pretty happy with the run in general.

Running race 9:49 [5] 3.0 km (3:16 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel-OS Racer

Was hoping for a bit faster but I dropped off the pace a little in the last couple of laps. Might be a bit due to me not getting quite enough sleep in the nights before. Still happy enough and particularly with where I ended up sitting in the group.

Orienteering race 13:49 [5] 3.13 km (4:25 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 x-talon 212

A bit sloppy in the forest section at the beginning, just wasn't using my processes properly but picked it up in the campus part.

Running warm up/down 9:21 [2] 1.61 km (5:48 / km)
