Scott's Ferry South- Camp Champs.
A couple of very minor misses early then settled into a good routine before a 1.5min error at the end due to poor discipline while exiting the control. Other than that, pretty happy with how I was able to apply the week's work into a race environment.

Forest 'sprint' at Mt Lees Reserve. Was promised a different orienteering experience and it delivered that, still I don't think NZ native bush will make it onto my list of favourite terrain types.

Contours only circle map. Learnt that this terrain type is a lot harder without compass but stayed in contact nicely except for one control where I drifted a bit while exiting

A map called 'prickly sands' is never going to be a 100% pain free experience but I ended up enjoying this quite a bit. Did most of the control picking course that was set plus some extra in the pine forest section because it was a bit nicer.
