Middle distance on Mt Barambogie South. Nice challenging course, with a lot of extra green to lower the vis and running speed. Orienteering pretty well at the moment other than one control where there was heaps of unmapped green and I stopped too early. http://doma.orienteering.asn.au/show_map.php?user=...

In other news, yesterday while we were driving near Beechworth we discovered rowdy flat 2.0. It's a bit smaller but still big enough for a middle I reckon and it looks awesome

Intervals+ warm down on a brutal long distance course from when the Danes were out that I'd never done. Mostly good orienteering other than one poor routechoice and pulling up early on a couple of controls.

Maze exercise at Kangaroo Crossing. Would have been a hard training during the day but I surprised myself with how well I coped with the challenge in the end, even if I was very slow doing it. The good news with running here at night was that my headlamp was great for lighting up the spiders really nicely, the bad news was that each time I only had about 0.5 seconds to react and duck them which lead to a lot of direct hits

Long run at Mt Franklin Gorge. Think I had the wrong mindset right from the start, whenever I try to orienteer at easy run pace I tend to switch off a bit which definitely happened in this run. At least I'm getting better at noticing it though and it was still a beaut bit of forest to be out in.
