South East League event at Westerham Chart
First race in the UK and also first time orienteering in snow. Was loving it to begin with but by the end of it I was soaked and couldn't really hold the map anymore so not as much fun, probably also the coldest I've ever been at orienteering. Surprisingly challenging area and I made a few mistakes including two decent sized ones. Still not used to all the mapping and need to learn how to actually navigate off vegetation (which I've never had to do in aus) as well as focus more on speed adjustment with all the track running down here in the south. Got a cheeky win though so can't complain too much

Headed up into the downs for the first time and found some really nice areas. Pretty cold/wet/muddy/rainy/cloudy but that's to be expected I guess.

Got really lucky in that there was a whole bunch of gym stuff left in my room (including a huge tub of protein powder) so I'm really well set up to do strength work. Started with a pretty basic body weight circuit to ease back into it but I'll be able to build it up well over the next few months
