Staff vs old boys. Having the time of my life on the wing against a big slow fullback so did a lot of #beatingoldguys. Achieved my main goal of not doing a joe dickinson (despite getting targeted and knocked around a bit) and scored the winner as well so can't complain

Hilly threshold loop. Really muddy on the trails today and I made an awful shoe selection so was slipping all over the place. Felt frustratingly slow at times and just wasn't having much fun but that's life I guess

5x5' (2') with 3x35" hills after the 3rd and 5th
Started feeling it from Sunday in the last few reps so the pace dropped away a bit. Felt nice and strong on the hills though but I think that was largely a mental thing because after the week I did in the lakes what we were using tonight felt tiny.
Distances for the 5s (odd reps were into the wind which actually made a fair bit of difference): 1.54, 1.58, 1.50, 1.52, 1.46
