Started at Macedon pine forest, up to the summit, along to Camels Hump and down past Mt Towrong. A really enjoyable longrun route, the first climb was pretty brutal but after that it was just great fun on nice trails through lush forest with nice views. Definitely keen to do it again sometime soon.

Parkville parkrun
Plan was to go out at 3:20s and did that pretty well, went through 3k in 10:01 so can't complain. Thought I was starting to edge away from the guy just behind me at around the 4k mark but then he kicked really well and I couldn't stick with him. Overall a decent hit out at the end of a good week of training.

Monash Running Group fartlek session
On a "hilly loop" which was really just flat with one short steep bank to climb each time. Was working well with Brodie throughout it and did a 2k tempo to finish which I felt really strong on. Not 100% sure I like this kind of session but it was probably a good idea to do something a bit lighter tonight anyway after all the racing on the weekend.
