Eureka Challenge at Mt Beckworth
A solid run other than drifting off on 14 (~1'30" lost) as I was feeling pretty rekt at this point from all the climbs and also lost a bit of time on 18 compared to the people that found better runnability by dropping early. Pretty happy with how my technique felt though and strong on the hills (was taking a fair bit of time out of Brodie on each of them) so some good signs ahead of next weekend.

Wanted to get up the equivalent of a long run so did some extra controls mainly in the nice open spur to the north but also a few in some absolutely minging green. Had to keep reminding myself that pain is weakness leaving the body and I guess it's all good training for Hungary.

With Brodie at Monash. Did a solid 9:51 3k in the tempo then backed it up with some consistent times for the pyramid. Felt like Brodie and I were working together well tonight, I tended to pull away from him at the start of each rep but then he'd work his way back so that we finished most of them roughly together.

Ran the course from MSW at Royal Park at tempo pace. Actually quite challenging particularly without controls/tapes so had to stop a bit to confirm that I was on the right feature.
