Running long 1:50:03 [2] 22.51 km (4:53 / km) +358m 4:32 / km
shoes: NB 1080

Had to head out solo to get this done before we checked out. Up Heathy Spur track to Mt Nelse then cruised back along the dam. So lush up on the top and a nice way to round off a quality week up at falls.

5x800m hills up Mt McKay
Training with all the big dogs today, the MTC crew actually decided to train at the same time as everyone else for this one which was exciting. Pretty cool trying to slot in with them for the first rep but then settled into the second group for the rest of them and was working pretty well.

Running warm up/down 24:39 [2] 5.05 km (4:53 / km) +23m 4:46 / km

Up to Ropers Lookout then bashed my way through some brutal alpine jungle for 10min to get to Heathy Spur track and back along the aqueduct to the village. Nice mix in there, good fun

8x400(200 float), 16' tempo
Got sucked into doing the first few 400s a little fast but then settled them and finished off the tempo well. I think both parts of the session were a little quicker than last week so happy enough

Running warm up/down 14:29 [2] 3.07 km (4:43 / km)
shoes: NB 1080

5 PM

Running 31:24 [2] 7.01 km (4:29 / km)
shoes: NB 1080

Got there a couple of minutes late so had to kick down a bit to catch the pack. Did some good hero worshiping once I did get there though

Fitzys Hut loop
The only guys I knew were running up the front so got sucked into that group. Everyone was pussy footing across the stepping stones at one of the creek crossings and I just went straight through so overtook some big names haha. My group skippped going to the actual hut but I went down so lost them and just cruised back down having a great time up the top.

Classic falls session of 8x1k (45'-60' walk depending on which group I was trying to stick with)
Settled into a nice spot in the group today although most of the boys in the group dogged me and only did 6. Though I'd have to do the last one on my own but some great lad who was only planning on doing 7 offered to help me out through the first 500 of it, what a legend
3:15,13,13,13,14,16,18,17, solid enough for at altitude
