Bit of a grim windy morning and legs definitely feeling last night a bit but some interesting chat on Inside Running podcast got me through it.

Sitting pretty comfortably on 3:05s-3:10s except the last which was a little slower in 3:14s. My garmin said I did the 10k in 34:32 which is solid enough for a solo grind. Nice feeling to get through a bulky session like this so happy days

Felt extremely cold walking back from my lecture just before this so proceeded to then wear far too many layers for the run and ended up sweating quite a bit.

Orienteering race 43:05 [4] 7.88 km (5:28 / km)
shoes: inov8 x-talon 212

Autumn Series at Irishtown.
Pretty clean run although not too many challenges out there today. Just a lot of controls on the approach side so I feel like I saw the flags at least 100m out for most of them. The section in the complex mining was pretty good though and happy with how I got through it.

Orienteering 32:39 [2] 3.67 km (8:54 / km)
shoes: inov8 x-talon 212

Post event training on an awesome looking bit of the map we hadn't been to before. Unfortunately it was very very green so no where near as fun as it looked. Slogged my way through a control pick and then did a corridor which was a bit nicer before calling it a day.

Forked o-ints at Dunga Mount with Teemu and Fredrik. Absolutely awesome area, rated this very much. Really tough physically so I understand why a lot of Victorians hated this map but at the same time, I reckon it's great for training for Scandinavia so I'll definitely be using it more.
