Running 1:10:13 [2] 15.1 km (4:39 / km)
shoes: NB 1080 (white)

Nice little run in the Tuscan countryside. Took a wrong turn that mucked up the route a bit but figured it out eventually. Pretty hilly place although much cooler today which was well nice

Running 34:42 [3] 8.45 km (4:06 / km)
shoes: NB 1080 (white)

As I was heading home today I saw a fun run being set up so figured yea go on, why not. A free 5k (although I measured it as 4.6- classic) with 4 laps of the old fortress, which included about 15 sharp turns on every lap. Really good fun, was just cruising around to begin with but got a bit sick of sitting behind hobby joggers so moved up a bit. Then most of the fast bois who I'd let go pulled out (apparently they were just doing a 3k) so I ended up cruising around into 2nd. Got a goody bag with a shirt, shoe bag and protein bars in it plus good fun running around a cool loop with quality views so very happy I decided to do it.

In Siena for the next two weeks and very happy to find a beaut track cut into the side of the hill so it was actually pretty shady for most of this. Legs feeling a bit heavy from the last week and a bit behind on sleep too but got through it all g. Nice to feel like I was actually moving again too after a couple of weeks of mainly being in the terrain.

Running warm up/down 26:44 [2] 5.28 km (5:04 / km)
shoes: NB 1080 (white)

Nice little explore around the city, surprisingly cool up in the main bit of the town so maybe I won't need to get up quite so early from now on

A map a bit closer to Oslo that wasn't really that relevant but made by the woc mapper which was the main reason we were there. Just didn't have a good time at all out there today, felt like I just wasn't moving at all on the steep slopes and couldn't find the motivation to push at all. Just went around real easy looking at the mapping and eventually gave up and jogged back on the tracks.

VĂ¥ler Varde- started out alright but then made a big error and after that slowed it down and just tried to do controlled orienteering. Good learning experience and lush area, did rate

Intervals at Kirkebygden
Trying to experiment with bringing it up to speed, a few mistakes in the early intervals (found it really hard to relocate when they did happen at this area) but then really happy with how things improved. A couple of mistakes on the last rep but was pretty cooked after a big day at that point. Found this area really challenging both physically and technically so very worthwhile.
