Running 1:14:53 [3] 10.8 km (6:56 / km) +237m 6:15 / km
shoes: Asics Gel Fuji-Trabuco 5

Fun jog around Moeraki. Along the track then beach (hard sand) out past the boulders, then back and up behind Moe to the lookout. Enjoyed it and even found a ripe banana-passionfruit to snack on

General fatigue has gone. Think my leg pain is coming from my glutes/hips (piriformis muscle/sciatica). Fine on the flat, dull pain radiating down back of thigh on uphill

Walk 38:45 [3] 2.8 km (13:50 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Fuji-Trabuco 5

Walked from the Boulders back to bach at Moeraki, along the beach (sandy then rocky)

Also went for a walk up to lookout with Mum in the morning

Travel day. Short walk to Point with Mum once we arrived at Moeraki

Kayaking 59:31 [3] 8.8 km (6:46 / km)
shoes: Hypernova

Couple paddle up the Maitai and around the Haven. Had to turn around at Riverside café, then Brent had to get out as we passed over a shallow bank in the Haven. I stopped lots at start, more consistent towards end

Had an Epsom salt bath before bed, and back to feeling average
12 PM

Running 42:23 [3] 6.6 km (6:25 / km) +69m 6:06 / km
shoes: Asics Kahuna 7

Not so sleepy yesterday evening so might be getting better. Still had a slight headache but forced myself out to either make or break me.
Legs protested massively at start, and were still sore at end. Ran slowly and had not much energy for the small hills. Lungs slightly average but I wasn't that puffed at this pace. Headache gone after, legs still sore, enjoyed getting out

(rest day)

Feeling tired and weak. Slight headache and mild sore throat, sore muscles WHY?
Did Gibbs really break me that much?
My theory is possibly hard run at Gibbs + poor recovery + field work (leading it) + touch of a virus (lots of people at work sick, but I'm not fully sick) + heaps of pollen in the air
