The down hills and in between bits.

Up blackie twice via SEQ from dirt ramp (hard walk) then up a 3rd time from Circum when I realised I'd left sunnies on top. 12:20, 13:05, then 5:00 for part hill which was a crawl because I was close to getting heat exhaustion. With my second being slower than first I was heading that way.

Ran down diagonal st from top then continued around circum for an almost lap. Then in spite of feeling a bit wobbly and light headed I decided to add another part lap. Kept pushing myself in the interests of clearing the head and getting a good sleep tonight. Too much going on in life and I knew a harder day would help.

Only after I sat down completely spent did I realise that I wasn't wearing my sunnies. Oh No! but probably they were by the rock at top where I sat for a minute drinking etc. Could barely face the thought of going up hill as it was pretty hot and sunny but made myself go. Crawled up feeling more wobbly and light headed as I went and had to stop a few times in those 5 minutes. Found the sunnies and wet to bubbler to drink and wet myself thoroughly.

Back at car I had lost the ability to clearly distinguish between forwards and backwards, reverse and first gear. Had to talk myself thru it very slowly. After a stop for supplies on way home went off in reverse when meaning to go forward, so slowly that it wasn't a problem. Relieved to get home and do lots of drinking eating and showering. If I'd done an IQ test I probably would have scored 90 or maybe less. My brain was definitely affected.

Rode in to ukulele club, played uke. Have nearly mastered G and G7. Jammed with EP afterwards. She had a great voice. Rode home. It was very hot.

Walking 35:30 [2]

Walked up blackie in dark. Had headtorch but could often turn it off because there was a big moon in a clear sky. Still quite warm. Up concrete to top, back down to circum, decided to run a lap even though my night running balance was a bit wobbly. Had a few trips but didn't hit ground. Walked down stopping for stunning views of moon and the lit up tower, and some wildlife - in particular a couple of small possums with big ears and very white bellies and tail tips. Tried searching but not sure what they were.

Happy to be able to run the full lap with only a few rests and walk breaks. Much harder running at night so was careful not to cause a new injury. So nice not to be in sun. Head was a bit crazy this weekend so it was good to get out before sleepy time.

The running lap. Tried a few experimental surges and heart rate and breathing went thru the roof. So unfit at the moment.
