Cycling 32:00 [2]
weight:64.5kg

I am at Peak Fatness at the moment, which partially explains the crazy spurt of activity below.

Had a big cup of tea then cycled to yoga (18 minutes). Had a proper stack turning left onto the wooden bridge at bottom on Mt A concrete track; front wheel slid out from under me and splat I went. Not going fast so some good bruises was total damage.
Much later I cycled home for remaining cycle minutes.

Strength Stability Suppleness (yoga class) 1:30:00 [1]

Did yoga class with extra emphasis on squats. Some good T balances and triangle poses too. Got back into my rain gear for ride home, then on a whim I decided to ...

Walking 21:08 [4]

eat the banana in my bag then jog and fast walk up Mt Ainslie. Took concrete track and some dirt short cuts. Crossed paths with SwissMiss near the bottom, it was too cold to stop and chat. Didn't feel too bad considering all the activity on only one banana since night before. Then I ...

Running 17:00 [3]

Ran down, taking dirt tracks and then some cross country. Felt really good running and glad to be done so I could get home and get breakfast. At the bottom of the hill I found the little crowd gathering for the Mt A runup. Don't tempt me, I thought, the weather is cold windy and wet and I have lots to do, and I'm hungry! So I ...

Walking (Mt Ainslie Run-Up) 23:23 [3]

took off all my layers except 2, gave my back pack to john and joined the race. Pretty soon I was last but had a man in blue to follow until just before we merged with the concrete. Got lots of encouraging comments from descending runners, so nice! Was feeling a bit dizzy by the top and it took a bit of mental toughness to tell brain to keep driving my legs. I figured that being metabolically drained couldn't really stop me; if my legs work I can keep going! So I did and even ran a few stairs at the top.

Then I grabbed my bag, put on some necessary layers and ...

Running 20:00 [2]

jogged and walked down the concrete track. Not feeling too bad, no shakes.

Got on bike and rode home, enjoying the ride and feeling fine really. Breakfast (at 2pm) and the hot shower were two of the best I've experienced. Aaah such pleasure in simple things. Achilles not too bad during all this and back gradually getting less stiff again.
