parkrun at LBG with Brad and Annette - my first here and yes I did put up my hand as a parkrun tourist. Started with Annette then she said she needed to warm up and surged ahead of me. A minute later a runner stepped off the track right in front of me (I run on the grass) and I lolloped into her. It was Annette with a cramp to stretch. Left her behind and felt ok up to turn around and thought I might manage to run the whole way but the hammie niggle kicked in on way back and I finally had to take 2 walks in last 500m I think. Oh well.

Breakfast at Sweet Bones in Braddon with B and A was lovely then off the glebe park for the Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever. I suppose I should log 15 minutes of dancing

Wuthering in Glebe Park. The bearded men looked the most interesing - in their red flowing Kate Bush dresses, wigs and makeup. We should be on the telly tonight :)
Training details: did a warm up to Babooshka, a test run of the choreo, then turned to face our audience and did the Wuthering Heights Song twice through. Audience joined in swaying at the end. Did I mention we'll be on the telly tonight? Try the ABC.

Joined the rehearsal for The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever and learned the dance routine double quick. Fun, exhilarating, so good!

Mt Tennent hike with Crumin and 2 kids who did very well getting to the top. They were playing run and hide games at the bottom hours later. Good to get lots of walking this week and let hammy settle. A mixture of too hot and too cold.

Black mtns. 18:08 via concrete (very easy), 15:38, 15:08 via Sth Quarry path. Aim was to do each one faster. Was thinking of 4 hills, but in the end 3 was plenty.

Red Hill. Was hoping to get some running or at least good exercise in but with E along I didn't get a chance, besides it was more fun to encourage her to get to the top. Went down the longer way. I hardly breathed heavier but it did make a lovely excuse to go to brekkie with the Frappe crowd. Tried to direct Flan to Gang gang cafe in Downer but she felt sure it either didn't exist, or was in Gungahlin. It's a great spot! Thoroughly enjoyed the banter with Gramps, Stu n Lou, KV, Flan and E.

Went to Flan's afterwards and exhausted myself playing endless games with E. Had a smashed avo on toast and a green smoothy for lunch so I guess I am living the dream.
