Walked past shops to clianthus, then ran up it for 4 mins, a walk break, then ran another 2 minutes (steeper) until very steep bit before top of ridge. Jogged down ST to bike track then did a 3rd hill where I had to run every step to the top. Hard but good. Running on an empty stomach seemed to help, felt light and good and hammy niggle has stopped bothering in last few days.
Easy run to C's where I stopped for a chat. Walked home after.
